WSUS updates stuck on "downloading" status

Hi all,

I'm using WSUS on air-gapped networks using the wsusutil for import/export packages. Recently, after updating the wsuscontent folder with the latest updates and running the july export xml.gz, some of the updates are stuck on the "downloading" status. I realize this usually means they're missing from the wsuscontent folder, but after looking up the file URI I've verified that all of these updates are there and in the correct location.

Additionally, some of the updates that display "downloading" are actually installed on the clients.

???

I'm using server 2016.

    Hi Eric-7000,

Thanks for your posting on this forum.

To avoid misunderstandings, please help to verify whether the wsusutil.exe export and import prerequisites are met or not.

run a wsusutil reset on the online WSUS server, then after 48 hours re-export and re-copy the WsusContent folder to the disconnected system.
