How to troubleshoot this Worpress Azure App Service https://portal.azure.com/#create/WordPress.WordPress that is throwing errors like below during the Contact Us form submission:
Server error. Form not sent. An error occurred.
I have also enabled the Application Insight, but not sure where to start.

Can't say I've encountered these issues before but looking (see links below), seems to be associated with sending email. Is there a specific page you're getting this error on? Did you configure an SMTP server for your WordPress site or made any other sort of changes after deploying your site?
Hi @Ryan Hill , Yes, the issue is when sending out emails from the Contact us page.
Looks like I will have to add another service to be able to send email from this website.
Would it be possible to get this detailed error message from Appinsight?
I'm not entirely sure. It depends on how the error was surfaced. If it's sent through as an HTTP error like 500, then you should be able to see it. However, it's a client-side error that's raised through scripting, it may or may not be observed by App Insights.

Does the AppInsight can only catch the error when it is unhandled?
if it is already handled or captured by the Plugins, then there is no way to view it.

It can, App Insights captures HTTP traffic coming into your website and will build a dependency graph if that HTTP request links to a dependency like cloud hosted database or storage, check What does Application Insights montior? for the comprehensive list. So, an unhandled exception which normally results in a 404 or 500 error will be captured. But if you throw a client-side validation error that isn't track, see TelemetryClient API, then those sorts of errors won't get tracked. Since you're using a 3rd party plugin for WordPress, it will depend on whether that plugin supports any sort of extensibility.
