I have recently upgraded ***from*** Windows 10 ***to*** Windows 11. It was a nightmare! When I tried to run games, ***AFTER installing all drivers, software, etc***......, I could not run *any* games at all. Now, I don't know about anyone else out there...But myself, personally, ***I DON'T WANT IT***. **How do I prevent the upgrade from...well, Upgrading??** I have a brand new pc and it is a monster. Not a cheap POC. I have the 3070, 1tb nvme, 16 gb RAM....etc., etc..... So it is NOT my system before anyone asks if it is. LOL> most definitely is NOT. So, I tried to revert back to Win-10....As it was within the "10 day period", like 3 or 4 days, tops! Gave me NO option to do so, as described in MANY vids out there. So I had to uninstall EVERYTHING and install all the preinstalled software that came with my pc(from the pc manufacturer I got this pc from) like it was just shipped to them with nothing on it. That just IS NOT going to fly with me. I am not just a gamer. I am also a photographer and I also create. Win-11 was as janky as it could be in that respect as well. Therefore, I would like to know how to prevent this upgrade COMPLETELY as I don't want any part of it, AT ALL. ***If anyone out there can help me with stopping the upgrade permanently, that would be outstanding!***

Right now you will not be auto-upgraded from Win10 to Win11 so there is no issue. Even in the future I sort of doubt you'll be auto-updated as there are situations where it wouldn't work.

But if you want to ensure it doesn't upgrade automatically in the future then you'll need to add a group policy as discussed here. I haven't tried it myself so I cannot guarantee it'll work.
