Hi,
I've a VM running Win 2012R2 and Exchange 2016 CU20.
I would like to upgrade to Exchange 2016 CU22.
Upgrade failed with this error : KB2999226 isn't installed on this computer and needs to be installed before Exchange Setup can begin.
But this KB is installed. I tried to uninstall the KB, reboot Windows, install the KB again, the error persists...
Any ideas would be very nice :)

Did you use the install wizard to install CU22?
Please try with unattended mode instead (run the following command in Powershell) and see if the same error persists:E:\setup.exe /IAcceptExchangeserverlicenseterms_DiagnosticDataOFF /mode:upgradeIf it shows the same error, please double confirm if the correct KB is installed.

I've the same error using the unattended mode.And when i install the update again i've the message "Update for Windows KB29999226 is already installed on this computer."
Do you have other ideas ?

Sorry currently I have no idea on what the cause of this issue could be as I cannot reproduce it in my lab.Would you please post some screenshots of the error message "KB2999226 isn't installed on this computer and needs to be installed before Exchange Setup can begin" and Installed Updates (KB29999226) in Control Panel?

I would suggest also installing the latest security update to protect your Exchange server.
