Microsoft Azure Text To Speech Cognitive Services

I am Trying Implement Text to Speech using "Microsoft Azure Text To Speech Cognitive Services " with sdk bundle and implenting in javascript - I am passing content using id of the div tag ,but it is reading all the script code ,css code,html code and hidden content also .Can You Please help me on this

Note:It should only read the browser visible text

@Varsha M I am not sure if the query is specific to the cognitive services SDK or a java script implementation query.
I am not an expert at JS but you can take look at a sample app of JS browser app using the SDK and compare the usage in your application. Thanks.
