watching the blazor video series on video 2 of 11 and I get this error running the basic project.

I haven't done anything beyond make the project with dotnet new blazorserver -o FirstBlazorApp then open it in VS Studio 2019 and run it.

AgaveJoe 26,191 Reputation points2021-11-03T13:00:16.76+00:00 I can reproduce this error if I open project folder rather than the project file; FirstBlazorApp.csproj. Choose "Open a project or solution" when first opening Visual Studio. navigate to the FirstBlazorApp.csproj file and select it. Run the project.

Please make sure you have installed the Asp.net 5 SDK and Runtime. You can download them from here.
Besides, check the VS Studio 2019 version, from the Asp.net 5 document, we can see that to create the Asp.net 5 application, it required Visual Studio 2019 16.8 or later.
