SSAS change sql server 2017 from tabular to multidimnensional

Need some help:

Tried to change my sql server instance from tabular to multidimensional and therefore I removed the 'analysis services' from the SQL server 2017 so I could reinstall the analysis services in multidimensional mode.
I was able to remove it but when I tried to reinstall with the installation wizard there was no checkbox for the 'analysis services' so I was unable to reinstall?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi @P Fonteijn ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

You don't need to remove SSAS, just change a value in msmdsrv.ini and then restart SSAS. For the detail steps, please refer to this thread.

But now you already removed it, right? Based on my test, I removed all features of SQL Server 2017 and then reinstall it, it was successfully. Have you remove all SQL Server 2017 features?
