Site deletion polices issue

Question

I want to keep 2 SharePoint sites under deletion polices from office 365 admin center. Meaning I want to keep 2 sites under deletion policy, so that users should not delete those 2 sites. Please guide where exactly I should add those 2 sites in office 365 admin center. Thank you.

What does deletion policy refer to?

You could create a retention policy for two SharePoint site collections.

Go to Microsoft 365 admin center -> Compliance -> Information governance -> Retention policies -> New retention policy -> Enter name -> Choose Static type -> Turn on SharePoint sites -> Choose two sites you want to keep -> Retain items forever.
