Looking to spin up SAP in another region for connectivity testing - not failover

I have SAP ERA running on Azure since 2018. There has been zero failover to the DR region. The goal is to have a copy on the DR region with no failover or running on the production network and be able to test connectivity.

I was thinking of using ASR to replicate to DR Region available zone to do this testing? The diagram is below. Could I get some feedback on a simple option to run connectivity/functional testing in another region without having to failover? Thank you

Hello @RyanPrescott-6753 Thank you for your post and I apologize for the delayed response.

Please use the Test Failover for the required purpose. It does not disrupt your source environment at all, and at the same time a successful failover can help you validate the connectivity, and also have a copy at the DR region.
