Is the Application.ExecuteExcel4Macro method impacted by the release which disables excel 4 macros?

In the next months microsoft will disable excel 4 macros by default (only xlm support?). What about the VBA method mentioned in the subject? Is this method still working after the release or will it be disabled too?
