Question

Hello,

Below message appeared in the UpdateDeployment.log. SCCM Client is uninstalled and installed. But still the same message appears.

Failed to raise state message for StateId = 2, StateName = ASSIGNMENT_EVALUATE_SUCCESS, error = 0x80041003
Compliance - Failed to raise state message for state Id = 1, error = 0x80041003
Failed send compliance message for assignment ({63FF885D-63A4-45C5-9955-33E33FB31318})

Please suggest a fix for this message.

0x80041003 means Access denied.
Source: Windows Management (WMI)

You may try to renamed repository folder and restarted WMI services with below steps to see if it helps:

1. Stop the WMI Service, you may need to stop services dependent on the WMI service first before it allow you to successfully stop WMI Service.
2. Rename the repository folder: C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\Repository to Repository.old
3. Restart WMI Service.
