Hi guys,

We having a problem with all print servers and Windows 10 clients.

Users cannot print and when remove the printer and try to add it again they get error message the cannot connect to print server.

We are sure this has to do with august and oktober updates becuase when removing those updates users can add the printers again!!

We know this has to do with printing nightmare fix, what I dont understand is MS says if you dont have the registry key PointAndPrint this should not effect you.

We dont have this on any of our print servers and still effected us!!

What I missine here?

Thanks

    Hi Oscar,
    Thank you for your replay,
This has become a really mas for us!! Microsoft is not clear at all on how to resolve these issues.
as I meantioned none of our print servers have the registry keys that microsfot says if you dont have means you are not affected by print spool nightmare!!! but clearly we see that these updates have affected us.

Before all of these nightmare updates we always included the printers drivers in a image and install the image aan to the end users laptops and users could add or remove the printers without the need of Admin password but since these updates users must enter admin password to just add a printer!!
    Is this expected behavior?

    Thanks
