Windows 11 stops working when switching to power from battery

Pranav R 1 Reputation point

Hey there,
I am using an ASUS ROG G17 (G712LU) with Intel i7-10750H.
After updating to Windows 11 through Windows Update, my system gets stuck at a particular moment, out of nowhere.
And after multiple times of this happening, I troubleshooted the problem.

It seems that, whenever I am using my laptop as I charge it, and the batter reaches its limit (depending on the limit I set, either 60% or 80% or 100%), Windows crashes on the whole and only the mouse pointer moves. No apps respond nor does the windows explorer's ctrl+alt+delete show me anything. It just doesn't work past that and I have to manually restart my laptop everytime this happens.

Please do suggest me a way out of this. My drivers and all the softwares are upto date as of 07Nov2021.

It seems there is a power related problem. Run the Power Troubleshooter. If the problem still continues, then visit the nearest Asus Service Center.
