Single OffSite Domain Controller

Question

I have a customer who is due for an upgrade on their server, and am thinking if there is a way for them to be less reliant on their premises.

I was just wondering if I setup a Domain Controller in my Server Room and setup a SiteToSite VPN to the customers office and run it all over a VPN whether there would be any major factors which would advise not doing that.

In total there would only be 3 servers hosted over the VPN (DomainController/FileServer/App server)

Site to site domain controllers via VPN in general should not be a problem.
