SSRS page number within groups works most of the time

I have a report showing data on hundreds of students. I have it grouped to show only one student per page with the page number in the corner counting the number of pages per student. Most students have 5 - 7 pages. It will occasionally (about every 30 or so students) show that a student has 10 - 14 pages. It is actually counting two students as one in those instances for the page number only. The student names and data on the pages are all correct. The only issue is that the page numbers are not separating the two people. The StudentGroup is where it should be delineating the page numbers. I have been searching through the data for any common fields the pairs of random people may have in common. I have not found anything to indicate why SSRS is choosing to see them as one yet. Is there some other setting I could change?

    Hi @Bob-7209 ,
Judging from your settings, I did not find any problems.
In my test, the report page number was reset according to the grouping, and the report performed well.

In your case, when the page numbers of your two students appear to be in the same group, is the PageName displayed normally?
If the problem exists in individual reports, you should consider whether it is the source data problem. And you need to check your grouping situation.
If this issue occurs intermittently in your same report, please feel free to let me know.
    Best Regards,
    Joy
