My windows is 10 Home and whenever I go to the Task bar to disable it, it just stops and goes back running again. It's stopping me from playing the game Far Cry 3, I need help.

    Hi,

It appears that the issue is specifically with your system or the components of your system needs to be updated. Here are steps below on how to disable TabletInputService:

    1. In the Cortana search box, type REGEDIT and press Enter.
    2. Provide your consent in the User Account Control confirmation box to proceed.
    3. From the left pane of the opened Registry Editor window, locate and click to select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\TabletInputService.
    4. From the right pane, double-click the Start DWORD.
    5. In the Value data field, replace the current value with 4.
    6. Click OK to save the changes and restart the PC.

We'll keep an eye on your response.

I don't know about the solution proposed by the moderator, but I fixed the same issue with FC3 Blood Dragon by permanently disabling tabletinputservice from the task manager. On the services tab, find tabletinputservice and right click it, "open services".
