Firewall configuration to allow Exchange OnPremise Addin download

Hello,

We have recently blocked the traffic to increase security on our DAG Exchange On Premise infrastructure and we are now unable to download Office Add-ins from the Microsoft store.

Do you know which URLs/ports must be allowed on firewalls to make it works again ?

Thanks for your help !

Regards,

Geoffrey

Hi @GeoffreyBlaser-7664

We could refer to the official document which lists all the ports Exchange server needs
Network ports for clients and mail flow in Exchange

And Office Web Add-ins require a secure HTTP connection (i.e. HTTPS). Normally this would be handled over 443 but that is just the standard port. Which port you host it on however is entirely up to you.
Here is a related thread discussed the similar question: Can Office Add-Ins function if port 80 and 443 are blocked?

Hi @joyceshen-MSFT ,

Thanks for your reply, it's not exactly what I've expected as we have added few security filtering based on URLs but if Microsoft doesn't guarantee that links used then I guess we have no choice to allow URLs by apps...
