You can do the following instead: Start PowerPoint, and click File > Open > Browse. Set the file type to "All Outlines" and locate your Word document.
The result will depend on if you have been using headings consistently in your Word document.

Hello Ismaila O,
I’m Gunasekar and I will be happy to help you with your question, I am a Microsoft consumer like you.
The Export to PowerPoint presentation feature is only available in Word for the web right now. It’s not available in the software version of Word. You can use Microsoft’s cloud office service to convert Word documents into PowerPoint.

I followed these steps above, and still do not have the option to export to powerpoint. Only option I have is Export - Transform to a webpage.
How can I add this?

On my desktop, it only says pdf or xps
Online, it only says web page
