In this case the logs we need to review are setup log, with the setupact.log located in $Windows~BT\Sources\Panther been the most important one. The SetupDiag.exe tool: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/upgrade/setupdiag#using-setupdiag is very useful to collect a high level overview of the error and use it as a starting point to troubleshoot installation problem.
