Hi,
When trying to add a .pst file based on E: to outlook (E is situated on a partition on my SSD), outlook open a box where it is mentioned that outlook cannot connect to a file on internet! But E: is not on internet, it is on my SSD!
Very strange!
Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your answer.
In between, I have upgraded my PC from win 10 to Win 11, after formating my C: because I was unable to upgrade normally from win 10: (for info, the error message was "2021-11-05 13:09:22, Error [0x08085f] MIG MigHost: CMigPluginSurrogate::LoadAndRegisterServerInThreadContext: LoadLibraryExW(C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\ReplacementManifests\Microsoft-Windows-RasServer-MigPlugin\RasMigPlugin.dll, LOAD_WITH_ALTERED_SEARCH_PATH) failed gle=0x7f.[gle=0x0000007f")

Saying so, when I mention my SSD, I am talking about the "hard drive" in my Surface pro.
After the upgrade, I have still the same message stating that "Outlook cannot connect to a file on internet".
So, I moved the file to another partition, it worked, but, still it is very strange!

    Anyway, thanks for your help.

    Hi @Propedeutique ,

    Welcome to our forum!

What's the version of your Outlook? (File > Office Account > About Outlook). please make sure you have upgraded your Outlook to the latest version.
And how did you add the .pst file? By importing it as mentioned in this article?

According to your description, I notice that the .pst can't be added in SSD, does this issue occur with the specific .pst file? To further confirm whether the issue is related to the SSD location where the file is stored, please try to move the file to the desktop or local drive C and add it here to outlook to check if there're any differences.

Hope the above is helpful to you. Please contact us if you have any questions!
