This week I installed Visual Studio 2022 Community Edition. Testing it out. I had VS 2019 Community Edition installed.

I see within Visual Studio Installer and when I type in the name "Visual Studio", this is listed for VS 2022:

 Visual Studio Community 2022 Current

What does "Current" mean?

Visual Studio
Visual Studio
A family of Microsoft suites of integrated development tools for building applications for Windows, the web and mobile devices.

    Hi, @Rod Falanga

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

I did not find any relevant documents to explain the meaning of Current. Maybe this word is to remind users that this is the latest generation of VS.

    Sincerely,
    Peng
