Hi.

I heard that you can use Bastion to remotely connect to a machine that can communicate with a private IP address from the Bastion network with the following Preview function of Azure Bastion.

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/updates/public-preview-azure-bastion-ip-based-connection/

If I have an Azure VNET connected to my on-premises via VPN, how can I connect to my on-premises virtual machine from the Azure portal?

Azure Bastion

    I've had a look into this and it does not look like this feature has been released to the Azure portal yet. I checked the preview portal also and can't see any way to use this feature just yet. The documentation has also not been updated with any tutorial or how to guides so we probably need to wait a little bit longer for this.

    @Takahito Iwasa

    This announcement was supposed to be delayed as the feature’s release was pushed back, but it looks like it still got published. We’ll work on taking down the Azure Update and will make a new announcement when the feature is ready for Public Preview. Thank you for reaching out to us on Microsoft Q&A regarding this.

    Please let us know if you have any further questions and we will be glad to assist you further. Thank you!
