Hello Guys,

I have new SCCM Server (Windows Server 2019) are up-to-date version 2107 with KB11121541 hotfix installed.
I have another computer (Windows Sever 2019) that install only DP (on some segment with the client).
I enabled PXE on DP and I deploy TS to client.
All the TS task run fine Image, SCCM Agent, drivers, scripts (via packages) except install apps task that the content are not download to client.
In ccmcache folder has 2 folders 1 and 1.BDRTEMP.
I try to set the boundaries and what I do is not working for me.
In CAS.log from I have log like 'Failed to check if the client is a peer source' although I disable peer cache on boundary group settings and Client Settings policy.
What can I do?

Tnx for all helpers.

    I found the problem.
I have a problem with some apps, and I have other apps that work.
I will recreate the the problematic apps.
    Thank for everyone.
    Highly appreciate the assistance.

Is the question around you not seeing content in ccmcache or apps not installing? Content downloads under C:_SMSTaskSequence\Packages by default during TS execution.

    RahulJindal-2267 Thanks for reply.
The problem is the content are not download to client.
In this folder C:_SMSTaskSequence\Packages I see the others content by the applications the TS want to download to ccmccache folder.
I tried to check/uncheck the option 'Allow this application to be installed from the Install Application task sequence action without being deployed'.
After a lot of hours the TS finished without install the application in SMSTS.log I get the log 'Install application action failed:"AppName" . Error Code 0x8000405' sound like access denied code.
BTW after the TS finished deploy application to client work fine.

    Hi @Tzahi Shusterman ,

BTW after the TS finished deploy application to client work fine.

Based on my understanding, application or packages works great when deployed after OSD, but some fail during OSD. Is it right?

If yes, the Cache size is set to 5g (default) and going trough the log it turns out that after a few apps the cache is full and the cache cannot be cleared. Therefore the apps/packages cannot be installed, since files are missing, we could change the client cache size during OSD by making it a bit larger.

Here is the article we could refer to:

Is the process stopping at the first attempt of the download of an application or do you have continue on error enabled? Maybe it will be easier if you can upload smsts.log from one of the devices in question.
