Azure AD Group writeback for Exchange Hybrid?

Reading the article is appears to be for 365 Groups but i am working with on-premise Exchange groups (stored in on-premise AD) that are synced to Exchange Online not Office 365 Groups. Is there any writeback capability for this?

    You would if you want the ability for a cloud user to modify membership of an on-premise exchange group. Exchange Hybrid all the groups are on premise and synced. With old Exchange in Outlook a group owner could modify membership not anymore

    You wouldnt need writeback for on-prem groups because they already exist. :)

    365 Groups can be written back to on-prem because those objects are sourced in Exchange Online and do not exist on-prem by default.
