That is the rub. I did install it on a phone three phones ago while I worked for my company. I set it up on my personal page on the company intranet for about a week. Decided it took control of my phone. Even though it was like a walled garden I did not like it. This is the hazy part. I do not remember how I stopped using it. I might have gone back to the site and disabled it. Forgot about it until I bought a new phone. At which time I was already out of the company.
Yesterday I called the security group in my former company. A very large company. Once your gone the company ID is purged. For this reason they could not find me to remove me. He could not find a local company owner of the intuit page. The only resource is Microsoft. Microsoft will say they can't do anything. It is only the company that can remove you. Well, I should be able to Uninstall. If ever done in error or maliciously then the company assets are deleted anyway. No harm no foul. In my case I am no longer an employee and it is a personal phone with no company assets on this phone.
Microsoft is the only one who can fix this issue. It is maddening and probably illegal to hold my phone hostage.
Microsoft should comment and help resolve this issue.
