Will my account created by my IT Department be closed if I close my personal account on the same email?

My IT Department created a microsoft account but I also make an account on the same email. So my question is, will the account that is created by my IT Department be closed if I close my personal account on the same email? Thank You!

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Do you mean where an organization's .com domain name matches that of your personal account and getting below prompt while sign-in? if so then removing personal account will not impact your work or school account. To learn more about refer how can I have two accounts with the same email address.
