Hello,

I'm trying to move VMs from 2012r2 host to the new host server 2022, I always received that the hardware incompatible in the new hardware even if the check box migrate to different processor version in enabled

In the destination host, I found the below error

'ES-SCVMM' Failed to create Planned Virtual Machine at migration destination: The system cannot find the path specified. (0x80070003). (Virtual machine ID 619CD23E-2566-4C35-85F4-C02890479076)

Thanks

Might try copying over the VHD then try creating a new VM on 2022 with an identical configuration as shown on 2012, then when you get to step Connect Virtual Hard Disk choose Use an existing and point to the 2012 export.

tried to move the vhd using the move wizard

I'd try manually try copying over the VHD then create a new VM on 2022 with an identical configuration as shown on 2012, then when you get to step Connect Virtual Hard Disk choose Use an existing and point to the 2012 export.

What happens if you copy it over manually? Then try creating a new VM on 2022 with an identical configuration as shown on 2012, then when you get to step Connect Virtual Hard Disk choose Use an existing and point to the 2012 export.
