How to enable "Allow downloads from other PCs" in Local Group Policy Editor console

I have Windows 10 home edition. This link enables gpedit.msc in Windows 10 Home Edition (enable-gpedit-windows-10-home) to be able to access the Local Group Policy Editor console in Windows 10 Home Edition. Where in the Local Group Policy Editor console do you enable the grayed out Settings/Update & Security/Delivery Optimization/Allow downloads from other PCs option to turn it off?

    The setting is under:

    Computer configuration > Administrative templates > Windows Components > Delivery Optimization > Download mode

    Setting to not configured should bring the setting back to the settings application. Or you can set the value there yourself.

    Hi @Tina Mills ,

    If it's grayed out in the Local Group Policy Editor, make sure you are running it as an administrator (and ensure you are an administrator).
    If the above didn't help, you can disable it via the Registry Editor, here's a couple of guides:
