Windows 10 : Cannot rebuild storage space
Hello,
I had a small Parity space storage built on my Windows 10 PC, using three disks of 1TB. Around 50% of disk space used.
A few weeks ago, one of the disks began to show some SMART errors and brough down the pool.
So I added a fourth disk to the pool but the synchronization job stuck at 99%. The pool is still unwilling to be brought online!
As the an additional action I performed a RAW clone of the faulty disk on to a fifth disk. It was automatically included in the pool as if it was the faulty disk as expected but still did not unstuck the rebalance job.
I'm really disappointed by the feature which seems to actually be worse than using single hard disks.
Here are a few screenshots of the current jobs:
And the overall view :
The ST1 disk is the fourth disk
The WD with serial number ending 2946 is the fifth disk, clone of the partially failing disk
Anyone able to help me recover the data on this pool ?
Thank you
