Whenever I try creating a managed certificate for my website, it times out and doesn't give me anything else. I don't know why this would happen. It is for a www subdomain and I am using CNAME.

    Hi @Ian Steiger ,

Apologize for the frustration this issue may have caused. At what point in the cert creation process did you start to get the time out error? Can you try using another browser? Could please share a screenshot of what you are seeing in the portal?

Keep in mind that If you choose to upload or import a private certificate to App Service, your certificate must meet the following requirements:

Exported as a password-protected PFX file-Contains private key at least 2048 bits long
Contains all intermediate certificates in the certificate chain
To secure a custom domain in a TLS binding, the certificate has additional requirements:
-Contains an Extended Key Usage for server authentication (OID = 1.3.6.1.5.5.7.3.1)
-Signed by a trusted certificate authority

    Thanks,
    Grace

if its for a cname then make sure the cname entry on DNS is <website>.azurewebsites.net and just pointing back to the @ host.
