Accessing Azure Key Vault with 3rd party service using API?

Hello folks. I have a question in regards to Azure Key Vault. I would like to cover a scenario where I have a 3rd party synthetic testing solution, which could take secrets from Azure Key Vault to include them inside the Selenium scripts, as example, personal numbers or registration numbers, as this would be a better approach to us to store the credentials.

I have tried to Google, but probably not that much, and I cannot find an example of how I could do this, if this is even possible with let's say access key and GET call?

Would much appreciate any answer! Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous • Thank you for reaching out.

You can use the below GET call to retrieve secrets from Key Vault:

    GET {vaultBaseUrl}/secrets/{secret-name}/{secret-version}?api-version=7.2

    Example: GET https://myvault.vault.azure.net//secrets/mysecretname/4387e9f3d6e14c459867679a90fd0f79?api-version=7.2
