There has been a reoccurring issue for a while where I wasn't able to sign into my Microsoft account at all. It would tell me that my account didn't exist but then when I would go to create another one, it would say my email was already taken. This issue has somehow fixed itself when I try to login via browser but now I can't login to the Microsoft store app. I had my account already linked and when I tried to login, in it gave me an error saying that I didn't have internet when I know it was working. I troubleshooted my internet and tried logging in again and it gave me the same error. I tried once more and then it said that the app was experiencing an error and to try again later. I tried again later, and it kept giving me the internet error. I have tried running the program wsrest, I have troubleshooted the app, I tried updating my pc and resting it, and I even tried following these steps here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/solved-unable-to-login-to-any-microsoft-app/e0d5e7c6-1124-469b-b92b-f5cb12542e3f and nothing has seemed to work.

Hello! Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, none of it worked.

When I search for the Microsoft store in the apps and features it does not appear. However, when I look for it in the windows search it shows up. I repaired and reset it and it didn't help. I even tried to press the terminate button but when I pushed it nothing would happen.

I tried to troubleshoot and that didn't help either as seen below.

I then tried to run the commands and it said that it said that it fixed some problems, and I ran the rest of the commands, and nothing was spotted. I hoped that fixed the problem, but it didn't. Also, I don't have a screenshot for it unfortunately because I closed it before I could get one.

If you had any other recommendations to help that would be wonderful. Thank you!

Thank you for the detailed response. If that's the case, let's perform In-place Repair/Upgrade.

    In-Place Repair

    • In-place repair/upgrade or repair reinstall is a process of re-installing Windows WITHOUT touching any of your applications or personal files. In this way if there's any data corruption, damaged system files or missing system files on your computer, this repair will fix or repair them.

To start we need to download an ISO file of Windows 10 and save it to your computer. Please follow the instruction on the link below to create an ISO file.

Note: You don't have to create a bootable drive, just download the ISO file, save it on your computer then run it.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/402819...

After the ISO is created, follow the steps below on how to perform repair install on your computer.

Note: Please make sure that you're signed in or have administrator rights to be able to proceed for the repair install.

    1. Unplug all external hardware except mouse, keyboard and LAN cable.
    2. Disable or uninstall any third-party antivirus program/application to prevent them from interfering with the repair install.
    3. Run the ISO file that you downloaded, if there's a prompt asking you "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" Click Yes
    4. Windows 10 setup will open, read the license terms then Click Accept button.
    5. Select Upgrade PC now then click Next button.
    6. Wait for a few moment until you see the Ready to install window, click Install button to start the installation process.
    7. Once the installation begins, your computer will restart several times. Wait until the installation process is 100% completed.
    8. After the installation, select the account that you want to login then click Next.
    9. Choose the Privacy settings you preferred for your computer and click Accept.
    10. You will have an option to use Cortana or not, I would recommend select the button Use Cortana.
    11. The In-place Repair/Upgrade is done, you can now sign in to your computer.

This process will take some time to complete so you need to be very patient in waiting until the process completes. Once done, restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.

    Regards,

    Jerico T.
