The problem was with our internal infrastructure where we have enabled "Internet Explorer" compatibility for DNS url's in EDGE that's why the DNS url was behaving differently.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Hello there,
Context: We have deployed our UI application in two availability zones and they have two separate URL's to access them. To make it user friendly we have created a single DNS URL for the end users.
Problem: The DNS URL works completely fine with all other browsers except in EDGE . And all our end users use EDGE. But when we use two separate URLs in EDGE the UI application work completely fine, only DNS url is not working properly. Not able to Open Devtools as well for the DNS URL.
Clearing browser cache, cookies etc., did not work
OS : Windows 10 enterprise 64 bit

Hi there,
Make sure you have enabled the DNS in the edge.
Go to edge://settings/privacy, scroll down to the Security section, and make sure the Use secure DNS option is checked and enabled. You also should select Choose a service provider and pick one of 4 available public and secure DNS providers.

Not able to Open Devtools as well for the DNS URL.
Press F12 in Edge to open Devtools before you type in the URL.
I would suggest that you use the Fiddler tool and analyze the HTTPS requests.
Hi @Sandeepkumarpg ,
You mean that the ip address work but the domain name does not work? If this is the case, do other domain names have the same problem (e.g. www.google.com
)? Is there any error message showed on the page?
You could also try to change the DNS and check if webpages load:
ncpa.cpl
and click on OK. Best regards,
Xudong Peng
