Hi there,

Please do make sure you are typing as much information regarding the issue so that the entire community might get some insights and try helping you out.

Now regarding the issue, the drag & drop feature works only when you copy/move items between the folders of the same type. Therefore, you cannot copy e.g. calendar items to a folder with emails.

Make sure that the Outlook window is active, and press the ESC key several times. After that, you should be able to use the drag & drop feature again.

This might also happen if certain Outlook folders are corrupted which causes the problem with drag & drop.

-Close your Outlook.
-Launch the Run command
-Type the following command: outlook.exe /resetfolders and click OK to execute it. This should repair the default Outlook folders and restore the drag & drop capability.

Restart the PC after this and see if this helps you out.

Great thanks! it worked after pressing the ESC button once.

BTW closing Outlook and reopening it did not work for me.

ESC does zero. rebootting the pc works for a few hours, but i don't want to have to reboot every few hours.
