Unable to delete API Management Resource

A few weeks ago I created an API Management resource to try it out. It's been stuck in Activating status ever since. I'd like to delete it but Azure won't allow me to do so since the resource is considered to be 'transitioning' between states.

What could be the reason why it's stuck? I haven't done anything to or with the resource since simply following the Wizard to create it.

The issue could observe if there is some issue at the backend in resource creation. If someone is facing a similar issue feel free to open a support ticket with us and share your APIM instance name and the region where you have deployed the resource. If you don't have the support plan then feel free to create a new Q&A request and share the APIM instance name, the region where you have deployed the resource, and the current status of the resource to assist you further.

I hadn't touched the APIM in another week or so when the status finally suddenly changed on its own. I have since been able to delete it properly. I guess it was just stuck somewhere until someone took manual action or something was reset?

@Kevin Delval Thanks for your response. Glad to know that you were able to delete the resource. In some of the rare instances, this could be observed while allocating the resource and the status could be seen in Activating for a long time. The product team is working on improving our services to minimize these instances.
