Additional team and channel-related features and issues within Microsoft Teams for Education
Hello DUONG C! I'm Gunasekar and I'd be happy to help you with your question.
It seems you're having trouble joining the Teams meeting using the URL your friend sent. To better understand the issue, we would like to know the following information:
- May I know the operating system and version you're using?
- Are you experiencing the same issue when joining the meeting on different device or web browser?
• Ensure the link sent is not expired and make sure your friend has the permissions to add members to the team.
• Ensure you're using the same email address associated with the Microsoft account you want to join the team with.
• Try clearing the teams app cache and check if it fixes the issue.
a. Close Microsoft Teams completely (make sure it's not running in the background). b. Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog box. c. Type %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams and press Enter. This will open the Teams app data folder. d. Select all the files and folders inside this folder (Ctrl + A), then delete them (you may want to back up important files first). e. Restart Microsoft Teams and try signing in again.
