Best practise to manage email with external users

What's the best practise to manage the e-mail crypted with the external collaborators? I made the protection rule with for "only recipients" but I have a lot of problem with this label.

    using "Encrypt Only" in outlook would take care of emails including the ones with Office attachments. In addition now there's a support for PDF documents (as described in above article).
