How to check activity for Azure App Registered apps?

Is there a way to check activity for applications in Azure "App Registrations" blade to find obsolete/abandoned apps? The applications may have different API permissions (mail, user, teams) and if Application permissions is set up, it doesn't have any kind of Sign-In activity.
I assume the only way would be to get token request statistics from certain application? But how do I collect something like that? Or there's another, more authentic way?

You can now check the sign-in activity of non-user accounts in the Azure AD sign-ins log. Service principals etc are included here so this might be what you are looking for: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/reports-monitoring/concept-all-sign-ins#non-interactive-user-sign-ins
