If I have enabled auto scaling for my VMs how will the newly spun up machines will be replicated to a DR site after I have already used ASR service to setup a dr site .
Q2) will elastic load balancer with all its configuration be replicated as well ?

Q3) will the ip addressing scheme remains the same for both primary and dr site

Hello @Muhammad Zeeshan - Welcome to Microsoft Q&A community forum!

As per support matrix - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/azure-to-azure-support-matrix "Availability scenario - supported. Scalability scenario - not supported." meaning you can enable replication for VMSS Flex VMs but cannot scale these VMs as per your requirement.

One point to note here, Microsoft Learn page on VMSS Flex - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machine-scale-sets/virtual-machine-scale-sets-orchestration-modes, it mentions that ASR is supported by VMSS Flex, but only through PowerShell. As of this posting Dec 9, 2021, there is no way to do this through the UI.

    Hope that answers your questions!
