Make sites load faster

Question

Have had a Ideapad 3 16IAH7 for almost a 3 months now and since last month it gotten very slow especially when it came yo loading up sites and the content on said site which used to once load up instantly but now takes it sweet time loading up. I have done most of the generic suggestions like getting rid of animations.

Got any ideas out there?

Hi,

I didn't say that you replace Chrome, I only suggested that you try another browser to confirm in the issue is with Windows or Chrome only.

Anyway, your internet speed seems to be fine so the problem might be with Chrome.

Can you try to temporarily disable hardware acceleration in Chrome?

> From the upper-right corner of your Chrome browser, click the three dots icon.

> Select Settings, then System.

> Disable Use hardware acceleration when available.

> Restart Chrome and check if the issue is fixed.

I just prefer to stay in Chrome.

Run disk cleanup

Used the Devices update tool for both drivers and Bios?

What browser are you using?
