Lookup columns in SPO

Hello,

I am migrating a list containing lookup columns from on-premises to SPO using SPMT. As per this article, it looks like lookup columns are supported in SPMT with the option to migrate all referenced lists.

In my case, I am migrating the child and parent lists under same site in SPO. Also, the parent list is migrated first and then trying to migrate the child list using SPMT. However, under list settings the lookup columns seems to be broken and values are not showing up in child list in SPO. Hence, fixed the lookup column first using this script. After fixing as well, it is not picking the values from parent list.

Is there any way to get the values for lookup columns for all items in child list in SPO or entering manually is the only way?

Thanks

    @Anjana R

    Per my test, in the migration settings, please set "Migrated all lists referenced in lookup columns".

    And you just need to migrate the child list to SharePoint Online, then the parent list will automatically be migrated to SharePoint Online.

    After migration, you could choose lookup column values in the child list.
