Q: OnlineMeetingsByDefaultEnabled $true - what happens to existing meetings?

I assume that nothing should happen, but I have not found such definitive answer
If I set
Set-OrganizationConfig -OnlineMeetingsByDefaultEnabled $true
will any existing meeting in users calendars be affected?

2022-01-13T13:09:36.067+00:00 The way I understand this feature, it only triggers upon creating a new meeting request. No changes should occur for existing requests.

Yes. As mentioned in this official document, "The OnlineMeetingsByDefaultEnabled parameter specifies whether to set all meetings as Teams or Skype for Business by default during meeting creation." So for existing meetings which have aleady been created, nothing would be changed.
