After update KB5041585 on 15 August 2024, the services of print spooler keep crashing,
i try to bring back, but when i try to print again, the service keep crashing.
i already try to deletes all files in this folder C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\PRINTERS and
try reinstall drivers printer.
but the services print spooler keep crashing.

i already try uninstall the latest update, but unfortunately i got critical error when click on start menu icon.
and try re-install the latest update again. update restart the print spooler services immediately working well.

This update brings back the problems that came with the previous update KB5040527...
RGB software not working, aplications don't start... Problems with the file explorer not working correctly...
All arround sluggishness of the PC...
Problems with the printer spooler is just another one...

It seems that you are having trouble with the Printer spooler service after installing the latest Windows updates. Currently, there are no known issues with the KB5041585 update. You could try these methods below inorder to see if it fixes the issue.
1. Run Printer Troubleshooter:
a. Click Start and select Settings.
b. Select System > Troubleshooters.
c. Select Printer and click Run.
Once finished, restart your Computer and try printing the documents.
2. Start Printer Spooler service:
a. Type Services in the search bar on the taskbar and click enter.
b. Find the Printer spooler in the lists, and click Properties.
c. Make sure the startup type is set to Automatic. Click Apply and Ok.
d. Right-click and restart the service.
3. Delete Printer Cache.
a. Type Services in the search bar on the taskbar and click enter.
b. Find the Printer spooler service, and select Stop.
c. Then, click Windows + R key, in the run dialog box type spool and click enter.
d. Open the PRINTERS folder and delete all the files inside the folder (Use shift + Del)
e. Once deleted, start Printer Spooler services.
4. Delete the Printer Process using Registry.
a. Open the Registry Editor and expand the following folder:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows x64\Print Processors
Delete all entries under the Print Processor folder. (Do not delete the winprint folder)
Once done, restart your PC.
