Drivers are already updated now how I set the bios to default? In bios I have the option disable Modern Standby but I can't disable it.
You cannot switch between Modern Standby and S3 simply by changing a setting in the UEFI. Switching is not supported - it requires a complete OS re-install.
Modern Standby has important advantages over S3, which is why many PC manufacturers no longer ship with S3 or support it. I think it's in your best interest to reconsider.
Hello Ayushmaan,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.
I understand that you would like to disable the Modern standby feature in Windows 11.
Modern Standby is a newer power-saving state (Sleep mode is the older one) that allows your computer to remain connected to the internet and to receive updates and notifications even when it is asleep. This makes it possible to resume your work or game quickly and easily when you return to your computer.
You can disable it from the command prompt:
reg add HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power /v PlatformAoAcOverride /t REG_DWORD /d 0
You will receive a "The operation completed successfully" message. Once done, type exit to close the command prompt and restart your computer.

Hello,
In addition:
If you disabled Modern Standby and your PC crashes when entering S3, you can press and hold the power button to force a hard shut down, press the power button again to turn on, and enable Modern Standby below again.
This can happen if the device OEM has not included support for S3 in the BIOS/UEFI firmware.
