How do I uninstall x-box game bar from Windows 10?

Question

I want to uninstall the x-box game bar on a windows 10 machine.

This is a VM that will NEVER use the game bar.

It is also on a metered internet connection and the game bar is using data.

There is no option to get more data and I need every MB of data I can get.

Click and Run Windows PowerShell(Admin)

Copy and paste the command below then press Enter

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay* | remove-appxpackage

Step one: Search "Windows Powershell"

Step two: Click: " Run as administrator"

Step three: Paste this code into the Powershell: get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay* | remove-appxpackage

John, This worked! Why do they add unwanted ****? Trying to clean up PC to run faster and largely it is all the preloaded **** that slows up the performance.
