replacing exchange online licenses with business premium in 365 portal

hello we have a bunch of users with exchange online (plan 1) license in o365

we are upgrading to business premiums licenses.

can i just uncheck the old license and check the new one and save changes .

Will that cause any issues?

    Yes, but you want to make sure all the features are enabled on the Premium, esp Exchange Online.

    So, uncheck the license you want to remove, then on the new one ensure all the features are checked, then hit Save.
