Hi, I'm having issues creating a empty table into my db, its been working well since I set up the sql server/db about a month ago, but now I noticed that Used space vs my Allocated space is 22MB/23MB respectively. When ever I try to create a empty table it takes 10x as long and it never appears in my table schema as before. I've already cleared cache, and accidently ran "DBCC SHRINKDATABASE (N'database_name')" which decreased my allocated space by 10MB.

The actual maximum size of the database can be obtained using the following query:

SELECT CAST(DATABASEPROPERTYEX ('YouAzureSQLDB' , 'MaxSizeInBytes' ) as bigint) /1073741824 -- Actual Max Size

To increase that you can use below statement.

    ALTER DATABASE DATABASE_NAME
    MODIFY (EDITION='STANDARD', MAXSIZE=50 GB)
