Synapse websocket error

Question

HI,

I am new to Azure Synapse and just created my first resource and I'm getting a strange error when trying to get data from my Data Lake. I then stopped trying to query data from the lake and instead just build a very basic simple "select a = 1" query and i'm still getting the same error message.

the error is: Failed to construct 'WebSocket': Please use the 'new' operator, this DOM object constructor cannot be called as a function.

any help would be apricated. I've deleted and recreated the resource with no luck.
