Hi,
We patching our clients and servers with WSUS. There are no such products as Reporting Services or Integration services in WSUS console, but only specific SQL Server versions like Microsoft SQL server 2016 etc... I googled and found that some updates for SQL are standalone and not available via WSUS and this confuses me, as I need to ensure that our SQL Shared Features together with Instance Features are patched! Can someone clarify this topic to me, which product or classification should I enable in WSUS to get those updates or is it possible to find the list of all standalone updates for SQL SSIS, SSRS and SSAS Shared and Instance features?

Thanks in advance,
Peeter

    Hi @Peeter Tiidemann ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

is it possible to find the list of all standalone updates for SQL SSIS, SSRS and SSAS Shared and Instance features?

Which SQL Server version do you used? Since SQL Server 2017, the Reporting Services has been separated from SQL Server installer. If you would like to upgrade SSRS to latest version, you could download from here. For SSAS and SSIS, they are still included in SQL Server installer. For more information, please refer to SQL Server installation guide.

    Best regards,
    Carrin
