I can't see old App Service on the Azure portal

Hi,
I have a web app (App Service) which I can't see on the azure portal anymore. But it's working and I get billed for it.
I think some "synchronization" needs to be run?

It appeared they were deprecating the App Services. MS support didn't help much. After some tries to restore it on the portal it was completely un-deployed. So, I had to re-deploy it from the sources.

Hi,

(1) Did you confirm that there is no active filter ?

This is very common mistake I saw. People add filter and next time forget it and missing entities

Clear all filters:

(2) Try to connect the app service using PowerShell. Confirm under which subscription it is hosted - do it using the same user which you use for the portal. It might be registered a different subscription or your user do not have the permission

(3) Any chance that this is Cloud Services (classic) and not App Services?

The Cloud Services (classic) deployment model was deprecated and since new tutorial speak about app services some people check the wrong portal blade by mistake.

No filters. And no, it's not Cloud Service. I have one but was able to convert to Extended support. I can see both of them on the portal

You covered option (1) and (3). What about option (2) can you try use PowerShell (can you see it and confirm the information) ?

What specific command? I tried:
az appservice ase list
And didn't return anything for me - [].

If you cannot see the service using PowerShell then the service is not exists. Don't count on the billing as it might be billing of the Cloud Service which you said that you have.

If the app exists then it should do something. right? Can you confirm that it is running in any way other then watching billing?

My guess is that this app service is not exists in this subscription

My advice is to contact the billing support (which by the way is free even if you do not have paid support) -> since this related to billing then open a billing support ticket from your subscription and clarify what you pay for (they will find the app if it is exists and related to the billing - but if it is not found by the PowerShell then this is not an sync issue with the portal for example or something else related to the portal. I assume it is not exists :-)

Sure it does. It's a web site at *.azurewebsites.net and it's up and running.
I'll try to create a billing ticket but I think billing is correct. I just can't manage the site for some reasons from the portal. I had some subscription movements a while ago may be that's the reason.
Hope someone from azure support would help with that - don't want re-create the site.
